The Abduction of Psyche
Cupid与Psyche的故事恐怕大家都耳熟能详了。记得当年第一次看这个故事的时候,书的右下角有一幅小插图,画的是Cupid与Psyche一起升天的场景。小插图中的丘比特与普赛克相拥飞天,那华丽的紫色突兀地占据了书的一角,在浅黄的书页衬托下,显得如此神圣而华美。Cupid用坚毅的眼神望着天空,仿佛是憧憬着未来的幸福,又仿佛正在与那些注定的苦难在作争斗。在那个纯真的年代,那个充满竞争与压力的年代,有什么能比这样一个眼神更有震撼力?又有谁能比这样一个Cupid更能成为我们的偶像?
上了大学后,我曾数番查阅图书馆的画集书,期望能再次找到当年那幅画,可惜一直久觅不得。今日终于在Google的帮助下得见原画,志之。
